iFilm series lineup for upcoming week: part 10

iFilm Arabic:

Arabic speaking fans of ‘Kimia’ can watch the channel’s popular TV series from Sunday November 18 at 17:00 GMT. In case you wish to see Javad Afshar’s masterpiece in English, click here.

On Saturday November 25, a new historical biopic titled ‘Jaber ibn Hayyan’ will come to you at 18:00 GMT. Also directed by Javad Afshar, the series narrates a part of Jaber ibn Hayyan’s life. The Iranian polymath was an expert in chemistry, alchemy, astronomy and many other fields. He is often referred to as the father of early chemistry because of his many contributions to science. Aside from his great scientific achievements, Jaber was a true Muslim and a follower of the sixth Shia imam, Imam Ja’far Sadiq (AS).

iFilm Farsi:

With ‘Seven Stones’ dragging to an end on Thursday November 23, a new series titled ‘Koubar’ will find its way to the TV station from Friday November 24 at 13:30 GMT.

iFilm2:

This week, iFilm 2 will say goodbye to two series titled ‘Gildokht’ and ‘Detective Alavi 1’; they will come to end respectively on Sunday and Thursday.

So, from Monday November 19 at 15:30 GMT, iFilm2 fans can watch ‘Shahriyar’, a biopic on a great contemporary Iranian poet of the same name.

Besides, the second season of ‘Detective Alavi’ will come to you from Friday November 24 at 13:30 GMT.

 (**It should be mentioned that the calendar of iFilm2 and iFilm Farsi are different from iFilm English, with Saturday being the first day of the week.**)
